Over 3 days we offer you 4 in-water coached swims in the beautiful Cornish waters.
Whether you're a new or an experienced sea swimmer we've got a trip for you - whether that's confidence building, learning new skills, coaching, technique tuning there's something for everyone.
Weather dependent (and for those who would like) we will do in-water filming for analysis.
We believe it's all about balance so alongside learning new skills or fine tuning we'll have the time to enjoy and experience the sea. Aly is always keen to enhance your swim by pointing out interesting wildlife or beautiful landscapes.
The 3 Day Coached Experience runs from end May to beginning of October. It's split into 3 different categories;

A private session tailored to you: whether that's gaining the confidence to swim that bit further, focus on something you'd particularly like to work on, have Aly take a look at your stroke, or simply have someone in the water with you to explore the sea then this is for you.

We can also arrange multiple swims over a few days or weeks if you want time to consolidate learning.

We have our own self catered accommodation next to our house which you've be welcome to book to save you travelling - come and make the most of it. It's called Mana Coves on Air BnB.
This is ideal for those new to sea swimming, a dipper who wants to learn some new skills, build their confidence at a slower pace, all while having time to look around, see and have fun!
These experiences are for the slower swimmer; if you're a head up breaststroke swimmer, slow front crawl swimmer or slow lane pool swimmer this is for you.
The swims are all designed to take the time to gain confidence whilst enjoying the sea and all it has to offer. Maybe you're a breaststroke swimmer and want to try front crawl or develop the confidence to put your face in the water, we can create a safe, enjoyment environment for you. With Aly in the water with you, and a safety craft nearby, the team is ideally placed to provide that element of safety.
Weather and group dependant we will aim to do some in-water filming so that Aly can look at your stroke and provide you with some tips and guidance to enhance your technique.

Perfect for those who swim regularly, would like some longer sea swim experience and fun exploring the coastline. All with in-water coaching for technique advice, skills training and analysis.
Maybe you're training for a swim race or event or a triathlon then our 3 Day Experience could be a great way to prepare you.
Ideal for those who swim with a pace of about 2 1/2mins per 100m or 20-25mins per km, middle lane pool swimmers.
Our aim, like all of our experiences, is for you to have the opportunity to learn some new skills but have the time to look around and enjoy this fabulous environment, whether that's watching a seal; swimming round the rocks to see the wildlife; or just enjoying the sun on your face. It's all about balance!

Not only for triathletes, but 3 days with a tri flavour; allowing you to develop your skills. We'll look at improving swim technique and, dependant upon the group needs/wants, we can practice some more triathlon geared skills such as deep water/beach starts, buoy turns, sighting, drafting & transitions etc. There will also be opportunities for combinations of swim, bike and runs in the beautiful Roseland AONB countryside.
Maybe you're training for your first triathlon with a sea swim and want to practice swimming in a wetsuit and in salt water (this really does affect your bouyancy!) this is for you.
To practice transitions we can have bikes and kit pre-positioned for exits straight out of the water, or on land to practice those vital skills. Having trained for her Ironman in Gorran Haven Aly can recommend some great swims, cycling and running routes that will keep you interested in the beautiful Cornish countryside.

A private session tailored to you: whether that's confidence building, stroke analysis, technique fine tuning, learning new skills such as sighting and bouy turns, or simply having a fun guided swim this is for you.

An in-water coached swim within the Roseland Peninsula area £50per person per hr, £20 per additional person.
All coaching takes place on the beach and in the water face-to-face, with support craft available.
We can also build a program for you, so if you'd like to build your skills over a few sessions or over a few weeks, we can do it.
These are available all year, just drop us a line and we can work out dates and times.
Ideal for small groups of swim buddies who regularly swim together, be it dippers or distance-ers. Swims are tailored to suit your group so that you get the most out of your swims, be it technique tuning, learning new skills or simply having a fun swim together. We can do short dips off the many beaches in the area, or longer swims exploring the coastal cliffs, caves and mermaid pools further afield. Or, if it's your bag, just smash out some real distance with just friends.
Check the calendar for details but as a group you can solely book any of the 3 day experiences or the private booking slots.

Sports massage - ease those achy muscles with a deep tissue massage by Aly who is a Level 4 qualified masseuse. A tailored massage to meet your needs - £50pp hr.
Personal training - whether you fancy blasting a few more calories with a HIIT or weights session or want a good stretch and relaxation session, we can cater for you. Aly is a qualified Personal trainer with specialisms in GP Referral, Pre/Post Natal, and Corrective exercise (ideal for those after injury), so she can cater for a variety of people. £40pp hr (group discount can be arranged).
Fire-side chats - chose to add a 60min relaxed presentation and chat on a variety of subjects; Swimming the English Channel; exploring the topic of cold water swimming; The journey to becoming an Ironman; Life in the RAF; driving/brakewoman on a bobsleigh; parachuting & instructing in a variety of countries and into water; ski racing on world championship pistes; nutrition for competitions (short or endurance), race prep; kit selection. £POA.
